FYB 2015 Bat Rules Bat Rules will remain the same as 2014, except for one change for 4th Graders (2014/15 school year).

4th Graders now have the option of using a small barrel bat (2 ¼”) or big barrel bat (2 ½ - 2 3/4“), with a minus -10 Differential. For the 2015 FYB season all bats in any age group do NOT have to have either USSSA 1.15 BPF stamps, Babe Ruth Approved 1.15 BPF stamp or BBCOR stamp (most bats sold after 2011/2012, have one of the stamped options). League supplied bat bags will continue to have some stamped and unstamped versions as we continue to phase out older bats. Once all bats in the league bags are switched over, FYB will move to following current stamp rules in a subsequent year.

Updated Differential rules are outlined below. Differential is a length to weight ratio determined by taking the length of the bat minus the weight of the bat – Example: 30” length bat that weighs 20 ounces = Minus 10 (-10).
