12th October 2017 Re: GCSE Geography Revision Guides Dear Year 10 and 11 Geography parents / guardians We can organise, through the school, the opportunity for you to purchase 9-1 GCSE AQA Geography revision guides at a reduced rate than the recommended retail price. There are only a few resources available for your child to use when revising, as they will be the first year group to sit this new exam specification, so they may find it useful to have a range of different revision guides to study from. There is a more detailed revision guide which mirrors the textbook which your child uses at school. The guide is ‘My Revision Notes: AQA GCSE (9–1) Geography’ by Simon Ross, Rebecca Blackshaw. (144 pages). ISBN: 9781471887314 which would cost £7.20 (RRP £8.99) which has only recently been published. There is also a briefer but brighter coloured revision guide which CGP produce which includes a workbook for them to practise exam questions plus an online version: 9-1 GCSE Geography AQA Complete Revision & Practice (& Online Edition) ISBN: 978 1 78294 613 7. The cost is £5.50 (RRP £10.99). Many Yr 11 students will have bought this dark green book back in Yr 10.
