GENE DANIELS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP The Gene Daniels Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a male and female from both Apex High School and Panther Creek High School in memory of “Coach D” who taught and coached in Western Wake County for over twenty years. The recipients should embody the qualities that Gene valued: a strong work ethic, high moral character, a sense of community service, and a love of sports or physical activity. To be eligible, an applicant must:
Complete an application, including an essay Have a 3.0 cumulative GPA Provide a written recommendation from two teachers and/or coaches Be college bound
Please return Panther Creek applications to Ms. Felicia Moore in Student Services at by Thursday, May 12, 2016. The scholarship committee will evaluate the applications and award the winners at each school’s Senior Awards Assembly.
