Poudre Football had 14 Academic All-State players in 2012. Poudre Football was the only team in Fort Collins to have two football players named as CHAMP Student-Athlete of the month in 2012 (Logan Wolfe and Cody Limmer). 10 players were named All-Front Range League or All-Northern Colorado last season, including Spencer Long and Austin Powell who will be seniors on this year’s team. Poudre Football has won more city championships than any school in Fort Collins.
Teran Mawhinney set a Colorado state record with 59 carries against Fossil Ridge in 2010. Josh Morton holds the single season and career rushing records at Poudre. He rushed for 2,328 yard and 28 touchdowns in 2008, and finished his career with 3,900 yards and 51 touchdowns. Jason Haferman holds the career passing record at Poudre. He threw for 4,026 yards and 36 touchdowns from 2006-08. Ryan Abrahamson holds the single season passing record at Poudre with 1,954 yards and 16 touchdowns in 1991.
