Parent Portal Guide Carlstadt Public School
Go to www.carlstadt.org. Click the parents tab. Click Genesis Parent Portal.
Click Genesis Parent Portal.
Enter your Username and Password. Click Login.
This is the landing page. You will see a Summary of your child’s schedule, personal information, and attendance.
This is the attendance page. Use the key at the right to interpret attendance graph.
This is the grading tab. You will see your child’s current grades for the marking period. (Only available grades 5-8).
Also under the grading tab, you will find available report cards. Please check here at the conclusion of each marking period. You will receive a Honeywell alert when grades are available.
This is the Discipline tab. You can view your child’s merits and demerits here. (Only available grades 6-8)
This is the gradebook tab. You can see your child’s weekly summary as well as assignments and course summary by clicking through the tabs above. (Only available grades 5-8). Grades are updated on a WEEKLY basis.
This is the documents tab. You will see documents such as ESL reports, BSI reports, additional report card comments, or other items added by the teachers and/or administration.
This is the Forms tab. You must read and digitally sign all forms available in the forms library.
This is the Letters tab. Occasionally you will find letters from the school and/or teachers in this tab.
This is the Contacts tab. Please make sure this information is up to date. Also contact the main office when making changes.
