You will study hig hlig hts of German-speaking artistic culture, including art and architecture, and will learn how Germany's political landscape was formed. Throug hout your studies, you will develop your fluency in German and you will be able to express yourself on a wide range of contemporary topics. Finally,you will study texts and film and will have the opportunity to carry out independent research on an area of your choice.
A recent survey by the CBI revealed that German is the most soug ht-after foreign language by UK employers. Careers opportunities with some German qualifications include journalism,translating, interpreting, teaching, law, business and tourism.
