Get S.E.T. for Soccer BOYS SOCCER CAMP ~ JUNE 22 – 25, 2015 We would like to invite you to attend Louisiana College’s Get S.E.T. (Soccer Excellence Training) for Soccer camp this summer at Louisiana College. We are proud to be hosting this camp again and are building on the successful camp that premiered last year. A great deal of time and effort has been spent developing and refining the curriculum for this camp to make it one of the most effective and efficient camps available to players in the state. Players can expect to be challenged and asked to work hard throughout the camp and in return will experience growth as a player both technically and tactically as a result. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and competitive environment to allow each player to develop their technical and tactical skills and how to then apply those skills to the game. Campers will be trained by college coaches with the assistance of college players to learn the skills used to be successful at the highest level of competition. Players will be trained utilizing the four pillars of soccer that are necessary to meet the demands and challenges of the game: Technical – Ability to manipulate the ball Tactical – Game insight, instinct and decision making Physical – Speed, endurance, strength, flexibility, agility Psychological – Intensity, focus, rhythm, individual and team components

CAMP DIRECTORS: Claudy St Louis is the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Louisiana College, taking over as coach on March 9, 2015. Coach St. Louis, a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, spent two years as the assistant coach of the Wildcats soccer team under previous head Coach Prince Borde. He was a standout on the field for his alma mater, Louisiana College, after transferring from Division I Howard University. During his two seasons as a player at Louisiana College, Claudy was a two-time all-conference selection, being named to the 3rd team in 2011 and the 2nd team in 2012.
Bruce Deaton is the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Louisiana College. He is in his fourth year at Louisiana College. He was twice named Louisiana High School Coach of the Year and also received state and southwest regional coach of the year honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) during his seven year stint as coach at Ouachita Christian School in Monroe. He is a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, WV, where he earned both his bachelors and masters degrees, while playing his college soccer there. He is a member of the state of Louisiana Olympic Development Program coaching staff and a state coaching instructor. He serves as the director of coaching & player development for the Crossroads Soccer Association in Alexandria. Coach Deaton holds the USSF “B” License and National Youth License as well as a Premier Diploma and Level III (National) Goalkeeping Diploma from the NSCAA.

Team Discount: The team discount will only be applied when six or more players register from the same team.
