Gift Tags Making Your Own Gift Tags • Have your child color the gift tag. • When he has finished coloring, cut out the gift tag. • If you’d like to make the gift tag a bit sturdier: • Trace the gift tag on a piece of cardboard or card stock. • Then cut out the shape you’ve traced on the cardboard or card stock. • Glue the gift tag to the cardboard or card stock shape and let it dry.

What You’ll Need: • If you want to hang the gift tag off of the gift:

• Safety scissors

• Punch out a hole at the top of the gift tag.

• Washable crayons or markers

• Cut a piece of string or yarn at least 6” in length. • Thread the string through the hole at the top of the gift tag. • Tie the two ends of the string together to create a loop. • Attach your gift tag to your gift. • If you want to stick the gift tag to your gift, use tape or glue to attach.
