Gingerbread Man Ornament By: Jenifer Gaston The Woolen Willow Trace the gingerbread man shape onto a piece of warm and natural batting doubled, with a pencil, or chalk wheel. Before cutting sew on the drawn line all the way around. Cut away excess leaving about ¼” seam allowance. Make a small slit and turn the man inside out. Don’t stuff!

Paint him with brown craft paint. I used burnt sienna and a foam brush. Make a strong instant coffee solution and paint on him. Bake in low oven to dry or lay outside in sun on aluminum foil. Sew rusty jingle bells on his belly and tie on the scarf! Happy Stitching!

Supplies Needed:

Brown Craft Paint Instant Coffee Foam Brush Dark Brown Thread or Perle Cotton Warm & Natural Batting Strip of homespun or wool for scarf
