Girls Fundraising Program One Club. One Goal
Hockey Club Fairbanks (HCF) Girls recommends the following fundraising plan in alignment with the HCF Mission and Values to reach transparency and understanding. By creating a safe environment for youth to grow, challenging them to be champions of character by giving back to their communities and developing knowledge of fiscal responsibility, we are meeting and hope to embody the HCF mission and model. Girls Teams under HCF will search for community partners to support and to serve within our community. We have created opportunities that are mutually beneficial to teams and businesses. All businesses that enter into a Team Partnership receive a visit from that team and an invitation to team events including an end of year celebration. There are also opportunities for players who wish to cover their individual fees for their hockey season using an Individual Player Account (IPA). Player sponsors should be recognized by the individual supported player. Other recommendations we believe to be morally and fiscally beneficial to all parties, especially traveling teams, include: Reimbursement of registration fees are not processed until all ice fees and travel fees are settled and paid at the end of the hockey season. Individual travel expenses are eligible for IPA reimbursement. All budget and fundraising plans or efforts will be communicated between Coaches, Team Managers and other appropriate team volunteers collectively as a group before laid out to parents and players. Team Funds in excess of expenses will be turned-over to HCF Girls Program for scholarships to players whose families couldn’t otherwise afford hockey at the recreation level. 5% of all team fundraising efforts will support future HCF Girls efforts and create a scholarship fund.
HCF’s Girls fundraising program creates players who are skilled on the ice while building self- worth off the ice. This model allows girls to work to pay their own way and build character and responsibility in a transparent way.

HCF Girls is a Fairbanks non-profit dedicated to creating an incomparable experience for girls in Fairbanks while providing opportunities for skaters at every level. All funds go directly to support the team or player by offsetting costs like ice fees, coach travel/salaries, and team travel expenses. Sponsorship benefits: Your company’s name will be printed on the back of each team players hoodie. The hoodies are a great “everyday” sweatshirt colored black, purple, and grey and the Hockey Club Fairbanks logo printed on the front. *To qualify for hoodies, teams need 4 sponsors. If unable to secure 4 sponsors by Jan 1, all existing hoodie sponsors will be printed on T-shirts with the HCF logo and given to each player on the team instead of hoodies. Please provide the text that you would like to be printed on the nameplate on the back of each player’s Hoodie.
*As an additional benefit, all sponsors will be listed on our website. Please let us know if you prefer not to be listed.
