Girls Varsity Lacrosse Kate McMann has been the head coach of The Gunnery Girls’ Lacrosse team since 2011. The program competes as a Class B team in the WWNEPSLA. Our opponents include Canterbury School, Williston Northampton, Millbrook, Westover and Berkshire, to name a few. Practices and games focus on developing the basic fundamentals while instilling a college style approach to fitness and strategy in all facets of the game. “Doing the little things well”, such as ground balls, draw controls, caused turnovers, and off-ball movement, is our mantra and a big point of emphasis in every practice. More importantly, the coaching staff is intentional with ingraining the values of teamwork, respect, hard work and having fun in everything that we do. Our goal is to cultivate student-athletes in a way that not only gives them the opportunity to continue lacrosse at the next level, but we also hope that they leave our program as strong, confident, and team-oriented young women who are eager to contribute to life beyond The Gunnery. If you have any questions about the Gunnery lacrosse program please don’t hesitate to contact me!

Best, Coach McMann
