The victory
NAILED IT! Galatians 5:13-25 For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13 NLT

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what 17 your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. Galatians 5:16-17

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of 25 their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:24-25

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our 14 sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to 15 the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Romans 7:13-15
Jesus is our great example 5
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ 6 Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with 7 God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in 8 human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! Philippians 2:5-8
The desires of the sinful nature: 20
sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, 21 dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Galatians 5:19-21
