GJHS BOYS BASKETBALL 2015 SUMMER SCHEDULE & PRICES VARSITY May 26th – 28th; June 1st – 3rd; June 8th – 10th - Practice at GJHS (see calendar for specific dates and times) May 26th – 28th - Tiger Skills Camp (fundraiser for team camps and basketball program; all Varsity players are expected to help) May 29th – 31st - Metro Team Camp (select players, approx. 8-10; 5 game guarantee; costs covered by basketball program)
The Metro camp is an overnight, varsity only camp. We will be coordinating with parents to help transport kids to and from this camp; if you are willing to transport your player (and/or others), please let me know. We will be staying in a hotel. Cost of this camp, hotel, meals, gas, etc. is covered by the basketball program through fundraising efforts; additional spending money may be desired for snacks, etc.
June 4th – 6th - CU Team Camp (select players, approx. 8-10; 6 game guarantee; Cost TBD, approx. $100-200)
The CU camp is an overnight camp and the fee covers the cost of room and board and 6 guaranteed games. Our hope is to use fundraising dollars to help offset the cost of this camp for our players. We will be coordinating with parents to help transport kids to and from this camp; if you are willing to transport your player (and/or others), please let me know. Once on campus, players will stay in the dorms and eat at campus dining facilities. Players will need to bring basic bedding or sleeping bags and a towel in addition to their regular overnight necessities.
June 11th – 13th - UNC Team Camp (select players, approx. 8-10; 7 game guarantee; $220)
The UNC camp is an overnight camp and the fee covers the cost of room and board and 7 guaranteed games. We will be coordinating with parents to help transport kids to and from this camp; if you are willing to transport your player (and/or others), please let me know. Once on campus, players will stay in the dorms and eat at campus dining facilities. Players will need to bring basic bedding or sleeping bags and a towel in addition to their regular overnight necessities.

IF PAYMENTS ARE AN ISSUE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL OR CALL ME AND WE CAN MAKE ARRANGEMENTS. Individual Camps Although team camps are our priority, all GJHS boys basketball players are encouraged to grow and get better as individual athletes. There are a number of individual camps available to players of all levels in various locations and price ranges which don’t conflict with our team camp schedule. Coach Madison has specific flyers/registration information for the camps listed below and would be more than happy to help players find other individual camps that may suit their level and budget.
