The newest Mystery by Mail kits are all packed up and ready. We have selected Mystery Kits in 2 fun color combinations. We're also offering kits in 2 different sizes! The small quilt is 68" x 84", the large quilt is 84" x 100". The kits for the small quilt include ⅜ yard pieces of 16 Dark prints and 3 ⅝ yards of one Background print. The kits for the large quilt include ½ yard pieces of 20 Dark prints and 5 ¼ yards of one Background print. The kits also include Triangle Paper and 1 yard for binding. Fabric for the quilt back is not included. Your swatch packets are enclosed in this mailing. Combination #1 is called "Batiks" – a selection of jewel tone batiks. Combination #2 is called "Reproductions" a beautiful selection of Jo Morton prints. Be sure to keep each swatch set grouped with it's numbered bag. Note that the bottom swatch in each packet is the binding fabric. If you'd like to get a better look at the individual prints in each selection, you can either stop by the shop and check them out "in person" or go to the Mystery by Mail section in the Online Store on our web site to view photos of the fabric selection. If you haven’t participated in a Mystery-by-Mail before, here’s how it works. You begin by ordering the kit in the color combination and size of your choice. The kit will include Clue #1, revealing the first step in making this great scrap-look quilt. Four more clues will be sent to you in the mail, about every 3 weeks. The final clue will include the complete quilt layout and a photo of the finished quilt. All instructions are for rotary cutting and machine piecing. You may use the order form below to order your kit or, if you prefer, give us a call to place your order. You can either pick up your kit in the shop or we will ship it to you.
