Lead developer for the Maine Tidal Energy Project, the first federally licensed ocean energy project in the country, responsible for site acquisition, obtaining necessary local, state and federal permits, power take off agreements, stakeholder outreach and public engagement. Responsible for leading internal team of experts through the resource planning, conceptualization, permitting, and construction phases of demonstration and commercial scale projects; coordinating with senior management to ensure transparency for the ongoing projects and to support the long term corporate wide strategic planning efforts. Business and project development responsibilities including cultivating Maine, New England and Maritime business opportunities, developing complex project schedules and pro formas, site permitting, community relations, resource and regulatory agency engagement. Executive Committee member of state industry group and company lead on legislative affairs. Managed multiple commercial and municipal storm water remediation projects and worked with a team of national sales engineers to identify, design, and implement solutions for specifying civil engineers to meet storm water quality, quantity, and low-impact development / runoff reduction objectives as well as storm water drainage and system layout requirements.

Contract lead for several large-scale developments and roadway projects and was project liaison between internal engineering and sales departments and ultimate end-user (contractor, specifying engineer, municipality) Managed multiple, geographically diverse projects simultaneously including bid/quote solicitation and development, follow up, negotiating and securing sale, order fulfillment and submittal drawing preparation. Provided project and technical support for submittal drawings, production and product delivery. Provided advice to customers and field team on local storm water regulations. Worked with regulatory services to develop new markets, increase market presence in existing markets. Implemented several process improvement programs utilizing lean manufacturing practices. Developed supporting material and provided training for internal and external sales teams at various satellite offices on customer relationship management (CRM) software.
