Goal
Propel implement as far as possible without causing damage to oneself.
Rules
Implement must be certified for weight and diameter. Shot must leave from the shoulder Must exit back half of circle under control after implement lands Implement must land in sector
Safety
Safety should always be stressed in all of the throwing events. Whether in practice or competition , athletes, and others around the throwing area need to be educated and aware of the risks and the need to pay attention.
