Signing up for a
1. Open your web browser and go to “Gmail.com”.
2. Click “Sign up for Gmail”.

3. Write in your First Name, Last Name, and Desired Login Name.
Use your REAL name
Your Login name must be your first inital, last name, and “188”
4. Type in your password and then re-enter it again.
Your password should be your phone number.
5. Choose a security question or create your own. This is used in case you forget your password-- Gmail will let you make a new password if you can answer the security question. Make sure your answer is something you will REMEMBER!
Leave this empty unless you have another email address
6. Choose “United States” as the Location. In “Word Verification” enter the word they give you in blue Click “I accept. Create my account.”
7. Click “I’m ready- show me my account”.
8. Click “Compose Mail”.
9. Send me an email to let me know you now have a Gmail account. My email address is: [email protected]. For “Subject” put your name. Press Send.

10. When you are done, click “Sign Out”.
