The NSU Strength and Conditioning department works with all athletic teams on campus. All programs are specifically made for individual teams. We stress training of the movement instead of training muscles. Besides spending time in the weight room, we also work with athletes on anaerobic conditioning, agility-conditioning, speed development, and nutritional guidance. Our goals are to produce the best athletes possible to compete on the field, court, mat, pool, or track and to produce the best citizens, so athletes can represent themselves, their team, and Northern State in a respectful and prestigious manner.
