Duration is enabled when Start has been selected, so either Duration or End can be used for timing the goal, either way the counterpart is calculated automatically. To set either Start, End or Duration, the respective button next to the current selection has to be pushed which triggers a small overlay. Duration can only be set in days.

Detailed Interaction (1/3) 1. Editing a "onetime" goal in goalscape view (by clicking in form or dragging the goalscape) - all changes can be submitted directly 2. Editing a recurring goal in goalscape view (by clicking in form or dragging the goalscape) - Changes to Priority and Progress are submitted directly - All other changes (title, responsibility, notes, attachments, start, end, duration) trigger a dialog asking wether these should be applied to all instances of this recurrance cycle or transform this instance to a new dedicated "onetime" subgoal 3. Editing a onetime goal edit in gantt-chart view - a popup with the form (with all fields available and directly submissionable) is triggered by using the gantt-chart toolbar or doubleclicking on the rectangle in the respective row - changes to start, end and duration can by submitted directly by dragging the left and right border of rectangle or moving the whole rectangle
