ANNOUNCEMENTS: Want to help out your classmates while at the same time proving you are Goddard's King of Smash? The GHS debate team is holding a Super Smash Brothers tournament to raise money for next year on Saturday, April 13, starting at 9am. There is a $10 entry fee, which covers the tournament entry and snacks. If you are interested in signing up, talk to senior Thao Vu or Mr. Peer, . We can't wait to crown a champion! GRADUATING SENIORS! It's time to think about reconciling your library account before graduation time zooms around! There is a list outside the library door called "Seniors' Library Chat Summons," and if your name is on it, please go see Mrs. Locke to find out what needs to be taken care of. There will be candy! Sophomores and Juniors: The spring ACT tests are approaching quickly, but there is still time! A higher ACT score can lead to more scholarship money for college! Join us for FREE ACT Prep classes after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 to 3:45pm in the Math Lab (Room D15). Questions? See Mrs. Coker in room D01.
All student athletes who have not paid for their Spring Sports Buttons, need to see Ms. Rogers ASAP. Your buttons will not be printed or pressed until you have a paid form on file with Ms. Rogers in Room D-17.
PROM & AFTER PROM INFORMATION:
Out of School Prom Date Forms are available in the front office and must be completed before buying your guest a ticket. They are due by 3:00 pm Thursday, April 4th. GHS Juniors and Seniors: Prom is quickly approaching! Tickets for "A Night in Hollywood" will be sold during lunch the week of April 1st through 5th. Prom tickets are $15 for GHS Seniors, and $20 for all others. You must show your GHS student ID when purchasing tickets. Only GHS Juniors and Seniors may purchase tickets. Also, you must have your out of school date form completed before purchasing if you are taking an off campus date. GHS After Prom Party WHEN: Sat., April 6th 11PM-3AM WHAT: A fun safe environment for your kids to hang out with friends, eat, play games, and WIN PRIZES! DONATIONS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS A GREAT NIGHT FOR THE KIDS. *Money* *Gift Cards* - Send to the school office (make note that it is for After Prom) Stay connected with: Facebook Page – GHS After Prom 2019 Tickets will be $15 until April 4th. On 4/5-4/6 they will go up to $20 You do not have to attend Prom to come to after prom. BUT – you do have to have a Junior or Senior buy your ticket. Each Jr. and Sr. can purchase up to 4 tickets. LIMITED AMOUNT LEFT! Want to support fundraising efforts for awesome prizes for After Prom? Here's your opportunity! Zips Car Wash so graciously donated 250 car wash cards. Each card is good for 30 days of unlimited car washes. The cards are $15 each. After Prom gets to keep 100% of the profit from this fundraiser.
