Preparation 1. Mix ingredients for the lava filling evenly in a large bowl in this order: Butter, Sugar, Knorr Golden Salted Egg Powder, Carte d'Or Custard Powder, Milk Powder and Yam.
2. Chill mixture in the refrigerator until mixture becomes solid. 3. Remove lava filling from refrigerator and split evenly into 20g balls and return them to the refrigerator. 4. Mix ingredients for skin in a large bowl in this order: Hong Kong Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Yeast, Filtered Water and Shortening. 5. Knead the mixture until it can be stretched thinly and into a smooth dough. 6. Cut the dough into 20g balls and wrap them around the balls of filling that was prepared earlier. 7. After resting for 20 minutes or when buns have expanded to twice its original size, place them in a steamer for about 10 minutes.
