Should homeowners attend the Annual Members meeting?
Yes! All Ranches homeowners are encouraged to attend. The purpose of the Annual Members Meeting is to elect candidates to the open seats on the Board of Trustees. If a quorum (more than 50%) is not present at the meeting or by proxy, then this meeting will adjourn and go into the Annual Delegate Meeting, where the District Delegates will vote on behalf of their district utilizing the votes or proxies that have been submitted for their District. If you received a spring extension for your landscaping or fence, the May 31, 2014 completion date is coming up! Please call the HOA office at 801-789-7900 if you have any questions or concerns.
The landscapers have begun the process of charging the sprinkler lines so the system is ready when the watering season actually begins. Occasionally, some of the valves activate and begin watering before the landscapers intend. Although we drive the community from time to time, it is extremely helpful for community members to email or call in to let us know of sprinkler zones that are on, sprinklers shooting in the air in an unnatural pattern, or any unexplained flowing.
The workers recognize the importance of exercising safe practices and encourage drivers to recognize the worker’s vulnerability when they are on mowers, using blowers, and trimmers that prevent them from hearing approaching cars or danger. The crews wear blaze orange shirts and work with each other to oversee each other’s safety. If however, the workers are putting drivers at risk or acting in an unsafe manner, please let us know so we can take corrective actions to eliminate these kind of violations.
As the landscapers begin to maintain the community, please exercise caution around their work zone. The crews wear blaze orange shirts and work with each other to oversee each other’s safety.
