GOLF SCRAMBLE CHAMPIONSHIP

TO U RNA M ENT IN F OR M ATION Purpose of Scramble Championship - To raise money for our Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams so that they are able to compete with some of America’s top NCAA and NAIA golf programs. Primarily, fundraising is used to pay for travel to play against top level competition. This past year, the Concordia men’s and women’s golf teams continued their dominance of the Cascade Collegiate Conference as both squads captured their third straight league crowns.

Maintaining their stellar play, the women’s team went on to finish fifth at the NAIA National Championship, the best all-time team result in the program’s histor Individually, senior Lindsay Aho earned First-Team All-American Honors for the second straight season while four others, Madeline Jarrett, Kim Lindow, Holly Speer and Sara Taylor, joined Aho as First-Team All-Conference selections to give the Cavaliers five of the top seven women’s golfers in the CCC. On the men’s side, Will Snow snared his second straight medalist honor at the CCC Championships with a 6-stroke win while teammates Jed Dalton and Jonny Miller earned all-conference honors.
7:00 am Driving Range Open Registration Begins
Performing in the classroom as well, the team sported five individuals that were recognized as Academic All-CCC student-athletes.
1:00 pm Lunch, Raffle, & Auction Team Award Presentations
All proceeds, after expenses, go to Concordia University’s Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams for the 2010/2011 school year.
