FIRST LINE MAINTENANCE First Line Maintenance (FLM) is generally described as repairs that do not require any tools. Cash jams, card jam removal, consumables replenishment (rolls/ribbons) and first line diagnostics are part of FLM and have traditionally been carried out by branch personnel and accompanied by armed personnel should the safe be opened.

SECOND LINE MAINTENANCE Second Line Maintenance (SLM) is the repair of an ATM/CDM where the faulty unit requires a software or/and hardware engineer to attend to the fault. In this event, the repair is required as the ATM will be out of service. GP provides the necessary labor and parts to restore a failed or malfunctioned self-service terminal, proactive maintenance, reactive maintenance and retirement of ATM/CDM to an operating condition.

STAGING AND INSTALLATION A specialized and time consuming service with single point of contact for the bank’s operations, ATM Vendor and management units in the process to roll out staging and installation of one or multiple ATM/CDM in single or multiple locations. We provide the first point of contact for all ATM related technical and operational matters to ensure the setup is done timely and well-coordinated.

Responsibilities: Meet and establish good rapport with clients Troubleshoot and identify hardware problems which may include providing a workaround solution and/or part replacement Troubleshoot and identify software problems which may include updating & reinstallation of OS, application and data Stage and Install new system as well as providing training to end users Escalate problem to teamlead or management per service level requirement Willing to travel and work independently with minimum supervision

Requirements: Minimum a Diploma holder in electronic / computer engineering /mechanical engineering/network engineering/IT Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are highly encouraged to apply. Those who have technical certifications eg CCNA and/or CCNP (Cisco for networking), MCSE, MCP or MCSA (Microsoft for systems support or software development would be an added advantage Must be proficient in English, both speaking and writing. Internship Program for Trainee Customer Support

Engineer GP Asia shall offer the following internship program to you for a period of three (3) months.

Training Program The scope of the training program is as follow: Attend a NCR ATM/CDM technical workshop for up to three (3) weeks. Attend ATM/CDM staging and installation trainings either at warehouse or onsite for up to two (2) months. Shadow experienced customer support engineer out in the field for onsite trainings. Learn soft-skills training (e.g. communication, handling difficult customers, handling stress) for up to one (1) week.

Learn telecommunication and conversation skill throughout the internship program. Attend onsite training on Communication Devices (Routers) , PC and server (this is an optional training program). In most cases, full time employment will be offered to the successful candidates upon the completion of the Internship program, therefore preference will be given to final year students who have recently completed their final year and waiting for the next graduation or convocation. We prefer continuality upon the internship program with an conditioned offer to join upon completion of the internship and subject to the candidates obtaining a satisfactory results upon their graduation.
