GPS Announces Partnership with STYSA Louisiana Organization to become Powered By GPS Club th
April 12 , Waltham, MA, 2018; Global Premier Soccer (GPS) is pleased to announce an extensive partnership with South Tangi Youth Soccer Association (STYSA), which will see the Louisiana organization become an Official Powered By GPS Club with immediate effect. Founded in Hammond, LA, in 1979, STYSA has an extensive program that offers both recreational and competitive opportunities for players. Younger players participate in STYSA Recreational games, while older players have opportunities to compete in the Northshore Recreational Soccer League and in the Louisiana Soccer Association (LSA) Competitive Soccer League. The mission of STYSA is to grow their organization through better player development, better coaching, and better competition, all while providing opportunities at every skill level. FC Bayern Munich and Global Premier Soccer announced their exclusive partnership in 2014 bringing the German powerhouse’s youth academy through GPS Partnered Clubs to more than 55,000 kids in the United States. GPS was formed in 2001 and is active in 25 US States as well as two Canadian provinces. As the Official North American Youth Partner of FC Bayern Munich, GPS runs over 45 tournaments annually and has International academies in the UK and Spain. As part of the partnership with STYSA, GPS will provide technical resources and support in program development and marketing. The two parties will also work together to create new programming within the STYSA program. Also available to players will be the GPS National Team program which sees the best players from throughout the GPS network come together to compete in some of the elite youth tournaments in the World.
