GRADE 8 SUMMER READING 2016 Before the start of the school year, each incoming 8th grader is required to read three books that will enhance his or her knowledge in the area of Facing History and Ourselves, an interdisciplinary course. Selected by the subject area teachers, these titles will stimulate book discussions and group learning activities in September. Most of these titles are available in public libraries.
