Port Huron Northern 2017 – 7th & 8th Grade Volleyball Camp Tuesday – Thursday August 22nd – 24th
7th Grade: 4:00 – 6:00pm 8th Grade: 6:00 – 8:00pm
This girls’ volleyball camp is designed to teach incoming 7th & 8th graders the fundamental skills of volleyball and help prepare them for middle school season. It will provide 6 hours of training at Port Huron Northern High School. The camp will focus on developing proper individual techniques such as: forearm passing (footwork, arm position, run-thru, shuffle), serving (toss, contact, float, top-spin) & setting (footwork, hand position and running an offense), attacking (footwork, arm swing, approaches), court positioning (offense, defense, 5-1, 6-2). Northern Varsity volleyball players will help instruct along with varsity coach, Michelle McCulloch and coaches Alex Shell and Alexi Zawecki.
Registration Fee: $50 per camper which includes 6 Hours of instruction and a T-Shirt.
