Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month (JDAIM) is recognized in February to raise awareness, promote and support efforts to foster the meaningful inclusion of people with disabilities in the Jewish community worldwide.

Greater MetroWest ABLE is the program of our Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ that supports and advocates for individuals with disabilities and their families. For the 8th year, Greater MetroWest ABLE is coordinating efforts across our community to honor JDAIM, in our schools, congregations, agencies. Our goal is to create a

Monday, February 8 Sibling Support Group 5:30-6:30, JFS MetroWest, Florham Park Siblings of children with special needs have many feelings which they may struggle to understand and express. Our groups will provide these siblings with the opportunity to address their feelings in a fun and supportive environment. They will have the opportunity to meet other children in similar situations. For more information please contact Becca at (973) 929-3129 or [email protected] Wednesday, February 10th Jewish Disability Advocacy Day 9am-5pm, Capitol Hill, Washington DC JDAD is an opportunity for professionals and lay leaders from Jewish organizations and communities across the nation to come to Capitol Hill to raise awareness on their work and passion relating to individuals with disabilities and their families, to learn about relevant public policy, and to advocate on these issues with their elected officials.
