Green Tea Coconut Lemongrass Latté A soothing aromatic beverage to warm you from the inside-out.

INGREDIENTS  (makes  2  cups)     2 tea bags 2-inch stalk 1 ½ cups ½ cup 1 ½ tbsp

green tea* lemongrass, quartered lengthwise** boiling water coconut milk raw unpasteurized honey or maple syrup

 

 

 

*Can be substituted with 1 tbsp loose green tea leaves. **Remaining stalks of lemongrass can be stored in an airtight bag in the freezer for up to 6 months. Try making my coconut lemongrass poached fish recipe! † For a more invigorating beverage, add a slice of ginger when steeping the tea.

PROCEDURE   Step 1 Combine tea bags, lemongrass and water in a blender. Steep for 5-7 minutes.

Step 2 Remove the tea bags and lemongrass. To the blender, add coconut milk and honey. Cover with lid and blend on high for 2 minutes. Pour into your favourite mug and just sit back and relax 
