Greenbriar Suites - The Wayside Inn - originally a one story commercial building overlooking the levee on the La Fevre River (now known as the Galena River.) It is nestled in the mineral rich hills surrounding it. In the early 1830’s a Greek revival addition doubled its size and it became home to John Weber, a superintendent in the mines, and his family. Recently, the house was completely renovated. Spacious luxury suites now occupy the building.
