Greetings CDS grads! I hope you are happy and healthy and enjoying school, work and all the things that keep you busy. We miss you guys and you are always welcome back here anytime to say hello. The new secondary school and dining hall is well underway so these are exciting times. As you likely remember, this is the time of year when new GYs are starting to get a bit stressed out, especially because they get their OUAC passwords this week. As you may already know the GY university trip has a new set of dates this year and we are just under two weeks away from the buses heading out. The tours leave on Sunday, November 2nd and return to CDS on Wednesday, November 5th. While the dates have changed the universities we are visiting haven’t. The East trip includes McGill, Concordia, Ottawa, Carleton and Queen’s. (Mr. Edwards, Mr. O’Reilly, Ms. Naiman-Weening and Ms. Moreau ). The West trip includes Western, Guelph, Laurier, Waterloo and McMaster. Ms. Koekkoek, Mr. McCutcheon and Mr. Huckvale If you are at one of these schools, or in one of these towns, we would love to see you when we visit. Attached is a schedule for each trip with enough detail to help you know where and when will be near you. There are a couple of chances to say hello in the evening, especially in London, KW and Kingston, but feel free to meet us on campus at lunch, when the bus arrives, or even join the tour (as long as you don’t have work or classes ). A few of the events held at restaurants require you to RSVP so we can provide numbers. Monday, November 3 (London & Guelph & KW) University of Western Ontario 9:30am Bus arrives and Tour begins at Croyn Observatory (feel free to come and say hello) 12:30pm Drop by and say hello to teachers and students at the Student Centre over the lunch hour 1:30pm Bus departs for Guelph from Croyn Observatory (come and wave farewell) University of Guelph 3:30pm Begin tour from the Guelph University Centre entrance way 5:30pm Tour ends at Creelman Dining Hall (see you there for a quick hello) 6:00pm Bus departs for Waterloo
