GROUP DISCUSSION GUIDE WHATEVER IT TAKES #4 “The Climb” GENESIS 22:2-14

Read Genesis 22:2-14 as a group. Discuss anything about this story that sticks out to you. Was there something that Abraham or Isaac did that you would like to talk with the group about?

Abraham traveled with Isaac for over three days to the place that God told him to go on Mt. Moriah. What do you think was going through his mind those three days?

In the sermon, Pastor Travis spoke about “bringing others along in your journey”. Who are the people in your life that you feel you need to bring along in your journey? What will it take for you to step out in faith and talk to that person(s) about what God has placed on your heart?

If you feel released to do so, share with the group the promise that God has given you. Then tell them would you would like for them to do to encourage you to continue pursuing that promise.
