Men’s Ministry Meeting – Fri. Night All men and teen boys are invited to the Men’s Ministry Meeting this Fri. night at Mount Pleasant Church (Mercer Co.). Supper is at 7pm followed by an inspirational speaker. Wedding Shower – Alexis Cocanougher & Weston Martt There will be a wedding shower for Alexis & Weston NEXT Sun. evening (following PM service/activities). They are registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and Macy’s. Wedding Invitation – Alexis Cocanougher & Weston Martt Alexis & Weston want to invite their church family to their wedding on Sat, May 10 at 4:30 p.m. at 1766 Stewarts Lane, Junction City. The wedding invitation and a RSVP sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board. If you plan to attend, please sign by May 1. Trip to Creation Museum The Homebuilder’s Sunday School Class is planning a trip to the Creation Museum on Sat., June 7. They are extending an invitation to all church family to come along. Group rate ticket prices are as follows: Adults - $19.95; Seniors (60+) - $15.95; Children 5-12 $11.95; Children under 5 – free. If you are interested in purchasing ticket(s), please contact Gloria Woodrum by Sun., May 4. You may see her at church or contact her by email or phone. Please note: This trip will entail a lot of walking. Sun. AM Worship Gathering – May 4 – Isaiah House Men On Sun., May 4, we will welcome the men from Isaiah House as they will be here to share testimonies, etc. during the AM Worship Gathering. Following the service, we’re planning to share a simple potluck meal (hot dogs & fixins, beans & cornbread, desserts and drinks). A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board if you would like to help with food (and stay for the meal). This will be a great opportunity for fellowship with church family and the men from Isaiah House. Food Pantry Item For This Week This week’s food pantry item is: can of soup or box of crackers. Thanks for your support of our food pantry! Ladies’ Ministry Events Used Shoe Drive – Thanks to everyone who is bringing in your used shoes for our upcoming used shoe drive fundraiser! We now have a larger collection box! Ladies Brunch – Sat., May 17 – Ladies, mark your calendars for our annual Ladies’ Brunch. See the poster for more info! Tickets are available.
