Herschend Family Entertainment is partnering with Operation Christmas Child to encourage church participation in areas near their parks. Information About Herschend Family Entertainment Herschend Family Entertainment has been a family owned and operated business since its inception. Herschend parks and locations: Dollywood - Pigeon Forge, TN Silver Dollar City - Branson, MO Adventure Aquarium - Camden, NJ Wild Adventures - Valdosta, GA Stone Mountain Park - Atlanta, GA Darien Lake - Rochester, NY Newport Aquarium - Newport, KY OCC Partnership with Herschend Family Entertainment 2013 is the 3rd year of OCC’s partnership with Herschend. 2012 was a fantastic year for the HFE/OCC partnership, as the Shoe Box Challenge was expanded to 7 parks. HFE challenged local churches to participate by packing shoe box gifts, and win park tickets for 2013. In all, there were 970 churches that signed up to take the challenge; and 98 NEW churches that participated in OCC for the first time. The Challenge resulted in 233,977 shoe box gifts, and we were able to actually quantify the effectiveness of the promotion. HFE will give away 3,398 tickets to various parks - which illustrates their commitment and devotion to OCC.

How to connect with Herschend Family Entertainment in your local area: Volunteers may be needed to support Pastor events at Dollywood and Silver Dollar City. Other involvement by volunteers is not expected at this point.
