Half/Full Day - Champions Soccer Camp
Champions Soccer Camp is for all male or female campers between the ages of 6-14 years old (8th grade). The focus of the camp is on technical development, while providing a fun atmosphere. Each day of camp focuses on a different technique in the morning followed by games in the afternoon.
Half/Full Day 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Ball Skills/Warm-up 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Technical Session 10:30 AM: Snack Break
CAMP PHILOSPHY: Our goal is to help develop & improve each camper’s technical ability and understanding of the game while also creating a competitive, fun environment that he/she can look forward to each day. We have assembled a staff of outstanding college coaches who will train the campers to increase their soccer awareness, sharpen their skills, and increase their fitness. Our coaches teach the game, but they do not over coach the game. Instead of trying to program a player's every move on the field, our staff allows a player to play the game and make corrections with the hope that the player will learn to think out the game on his/her own.
GOALKEEPER TRAINING: Goalkeepers will receive individualized training as well as instruction within a game environment. They will learn the fundamentals needed for the position including diving technique, footwork, and distribution.

The full day of camp will be held June 26-June 30, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The full day of camp is designed for players between the ages of 8-14 who have had some experience playing the sport and can handle the physical workload of a full day of camp.
COST: $250.00 Each camper is expected to bring a soccer ball, soccer cleats or turf shoes, rain gear, healthy snack, lunch, and water to camp each day. This is an instructional camp with the purpose of teaching youth players the basic skills of the game. Skills are taught using a hands-on, fun and interactive approach by licensed coaches. Each skill is reinforced throughout the day via the use of technical games. The day is concluded with a small-sided soccer game to give the players a chance to use their newly learned skills.
