Step 1 — Blade 

Turn the lid counterclockwise.



Lift the bowl scraping mechanism up and out of the bowl.

Gently lift the blade mechanism from the top black piece.



Make sure there are no broken parts or pieces in the bowl. If there are, make sure the bowl and scraping mechanism are not damaged.
