17th November 2016 Dear Parents/Carers YEAR 5 AND 6 SCHOOL TRIP - HAMPTON COURT PALACE, SURREY – THURSDAY 23RD FEBRUARY 2017 DETAIL For our topic in Term 3 and 4, we have organised a trip to Hampton Court Palace, where they offer an exciting day of learning, to Immerse us in the history of the Tudors. The trip has been organised to take place on Thursday 23rd February 2017, leaving school at 8.00 am and returning at 5.30 pm. Please can your child arrive promptly at 7.50 am and enter school via the KS2 Hall Entrance. Please advise your child to go straight to their classroom for register. Please collect your child at 5.30 pm from School Close we will send a text message on the day if the coach is running late. COSTS Whilst there is no formal charge, the trip can only take place if we receive sufficient contributions from parents. We are therefore requesting a contribution of £21.00 to cover the cost of this trip. If you wish to pay by instalments we would require £7.00 by Wednesday 30th November 2016, £7.00 by Friday 30th December 2016 and the final balance of £7.00 by Friday 27th January 2017 at which point we will determine if we are able to run the trip. Payment must be made online via Parentmail. Please note that as the school has to pay for this trip in advance we will not be able to offer any refunds due to non-attendance. CLOTHING and FOOD Please provide children with the following items for the trip: - School uniform must be worn. - A suitable coat as the children will be outside. - Packed lunch with a drink (no fizzy drinks or chocolate please). HELP ON THE TRIP We will require some parent helpers should this trip take place. If you would like to help on this trip, please indicate on the slip below.
