Hard drive upgrade

Hard drive upgrade This will help replace the stock hard drive with either a new one or an SSD. Also an optional step on replacing the mSATA SSDs that configured in a RAID 0 array. This is based on MSI's manual which strangely, they don't make easily accessible.

Step 1 — Primary Hard Drive 

Remove the 17 screws from the bottom (highlighted in red).



Remove the 2 screws in yellow.



Remove the spacer and slide the drive out.

Optional step : Replacing the mSATA ssds



Remove the single torx screw holding each SSD module in place.



Remove the SSDs and install the new ones
