Volunteer are need to help Pastor Toni Ruth set up the stations of the cross. Please contact Pastor Toni Ruth should you be able to help 704-455-2311 or emailing

The Stations of the Cross, also known as the Via Dolorosa, is a narration of the final hours in the life of Jesus Christ on earth that continues to provide spiritual conviction for every Christian and application to our lives. The Stations of the Cross serve as a stark reminder of the humble manner in which Jesus was willing to set aside any privilege of deity in order to provide a path to salvation through His sacrifice. The Stations will be set up in the Sanctuary on April 14th from noon - 6 p.m. The glory and abundant joy of the resurrection is powerful, even more so when you have spent time in reflections and prayer at the foot of the cross. This opportunity is open to all. We need Volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help set up and take down the stations of the cross. Anyone interested in helping out, please let Toni Ruth know asap, by calling the church office 704-455-2311 or emailing
[email protected]! This only requires a couple hours either Thursday night, after the service on April 13th, or in the morning of April 14th before the Fish Fry begins. Then be back for taking it down on Friday evening.

Prayer is at the heart of our lives as Christians and the life of the church, but so many of us feel like we don’t understand anything about prayer. Being asked to pray (especially in public) can bring up feelings of anxiety and inadequacy, even among the most confident among us! And yet prayer is as natural and instinctive to us as breathing. If you’ve ever struggled with prayer, ever wondered what the big deal is, or if you simply want to grow in your prayer life, you are invited to join us on Thursday evenings during the month of May (7:30-8:30) to talk about The Basics of Prayer. This is not just for beginners – even if you are completely comfortable with prayer, we want you to join us too! No matter where you are on your journey of faith, taking the opportunity to connect with other disciples in intentional prayer is always a good thing! If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Wes (
