In Maths this week we have been
This week in our topic work we have looked at the Union Jack flag. We researched some information about England.
doing lots of problem solving. We have been learning to identify the key information in a number problem. We have also started to learn how to bridge through 10. 9 + 4 = ?
9 + 1 = 10 10 + 3 = 13

In Literacy we have written instructions on how to make pancakes. The children used imperative verbs to make their instructions “bossy”.
Making nest boxes with Mrs Miller!
Next Week We will be going for a seasonal walk on Monday afternoon. Please bring in a pair of wellies on Monday so that we are able to go into the woods.
Making rainbows
Mrs Miller came over on Monday and Wednesday afternoons to help us make nest boxes to go around the school.
