RANCHES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION : JANUARY 2017
Have I got a deal for YOU!
As all the Solar Companies run rampant throughout the Ranches Community, please remember these important guidelines. As per the General Rules, “Solicitors are not permitted in The Ranches unless authorized by the Board of Trustees.” Even if a solicitor receives permission, there are no door to door sales allowed in the Ranches HOA. If a solicitor gains permission from the HOA, they are only allowed to leave a flyer attached with a rubber band on the door knob. But must still observe all “no soliciting” signs.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNER OF OUR HOLIDAY LIGHTING AND DECORATIONS CONTEST! THANK YOU TO ALL THE HOMEOWNERS THAT PARTICIPATED IN MAKING THE COMMUNITY LOOK BRIGHT WITH HOLIDAY CHEER!
The City also requires a permit for solicitors. The City provides a lanyard with their permit if they have gone through the process of being licensed
with the City. They have a page on their website that shows current active licenses for solicitors: http://www.emcity.org/businesses/business-licensing/ companies-with-active-solicitation-licenses
If you have concerns about unlicensed solicitors or suspicious behavior, you should report them to sheriff’s dispatch at 801-794-3970 so deputies can make contact and check them out.

Annual Invoices with Quarterly Statements: Annual Invoices along with your quarterly statements go out this month. As a reminder, HOA dues are an annual assessment. Therefore, you will not receive monthly invoices. You are welcome to pay your assessments annually, quarterly, or bi-annually as long as you are paying it in advance. NOTE: It is the responsibility of each homeowner to know when their payment is due. Since many homeowners pay their HOA assessments annually or online, it is not cost effective for return envelopes to be provided in the quarterly statements.
