HCYA HURRICANES TRAINING NOTES – DECEMBER 17 “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ…” Philippians 1:27

And the winners are… What a great year end for HCYA Hurricanes! The Annual Christmas Tournament was a huge success, despite temperatures being in the low 40’s! And victories for HSJVB, HSVG and HSVB against Northland Christian School on Friday left everyone in good spirits as we enter “the most wonderful time of the year!” Special thanks to players, parents, coaches and HCYA leadership for continuing to model Christ-likeness in both word and deed. The Homeschool Soccer Program truly is different…for all the right reasons! This week’s challenges from Philippians 3:1-11  Do you ever find yourself adding to God’s free gift of salvation? Do you feel burdened (or burden others) with a “to do” list in order to be in right standing with God? If so, STOP! We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Period. No strings attached!  As Paul tells us time and time again throughout the book of Philippians: “REJOICE!” Let’s enjoy the season and be sure to make it all about HIM! Merry Christmas!
