All parameters are adjustable via a USB Interface. For communication, the pyrometer must be attached to a DC power supply (24VDC) and the USB Interface must be connected.

A shielded connecting cable must be used to meet the electromagnetic requirements. The shield of the connecting cable has to be connected on the pyrometer side. Note: For Type J & K thermocouple, special compensating cable is used. *Black Cable – Type J *Yellow Cable – Type K *Gray Cable – 0 to 5V, 4-‐20mA While the pyrometer is connected to the PC via USB Interface, analog output must be connected for correct temperature measurement. Optional Wahl HSM Software: Optional Wahl HSM Software offers communications to the pyrometer for parameter setting and data logging. The software is implemented via the optional USB interface card, 12450-‐54.
