Heavy Duty Slant Bed Lathe
The SPX model brings Kingston’s legendary power and performance to a slant bed lathe. Features include a 45-degree slant bed, 9.25” bore, 35.4” swing, and lengths from 80” to 160”. The heavily ribbed one-piece bed and box way casting is made of a fine-grain Meehanite that is heat treated, annealed twice and ground to attain the stability and hardness of HRC53. Each sliding surface is further coated with Turcite-B for optimal performance even under your heaviest loading and cutting conditions. Our 12 position servo turret is specially designed with a two piece large diameter Hirth-type coupling for strong clamping force and high loading capacity while delivering precise positioning.
