The program is geared towards boys entering grades 1 through 9 and includes: Batting mechanics Pitching mechanics Individual position play Baserunning Instructional and competitive games Chris Roof – Director Before coming to Governor Livingston High School in 2004 to coach the Varsity baseball team, Chris was head coach at Millburn High School for 3 seasons. A standout baseball player and National Champion at Montclair State University, Chris has been named Coach of the Year 10 times including New Jersey State Coach of the Year in 2011. Chris has sent 37 players to play college baseball including 12 at the D1 level. “Chris Roof is one of very few coaches who works with middle school baseball players with thorough, comprehensive baseball workouts. What I love about Coach Roof is his passion and obvious love for the greatest sport; his enthusiasm is infectious and appreciated. Campers should bring something to drink and a snack or light lunch and should apply sunscreen before arriving at camp. They should also bring their own glove and helmet; balls are not necessary. Bats are not necessary, but campers can bring one if they have one. SESSIONS Week 1:
