Hello, My name is John Hansen. This is my first year teaching at BCHS. I will be teaching US and World History. I will also be coaching girls’ junior varsity basketball along with being the youth legislature coordinator. I grew up in Deer Lodge, MT and graduated from Powell County in 2008. I attended the University of Montana-Western from 2008-2013. I graduated with degrees in Secondary Education History and Health and Human Performance K12. Upon graduating, my wife and I moved to Geyser, MT where I taught for four years. While at Geyser, I served as the girls’ varsity basketball coach, athletic director, and youth legislature coordinator.
