A general plan guides the work of city departments, the Moab Planning Commission, and the Moab City Council in deciding what rules, regulations and guidelines to pursue, based on the vision of residents. • What are the most important issues facing our community? • What would you like to see changed? • What would you like to see left alone?
TWO UPCOMING EVENTS will provide residents an opportunity to help craft the general plan update: Community Open House Wednesday, August 1st, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Moab City Hall We’ll have information on the current general plan, and want to know from you what has worked in that plan, what has not worked, and what should be added or dropped in the update.
Sounding Board Sessions These two sessions give you a chance to informally talk with the planning team and let them know what you think should be the top priorities of the general plan update. • Breakfast Session, Thursday, August 2, 7:30-9:30 a.m. at Wake and Bake Café, 57 South Main Street. Refreshments will served. • Ice Cream at the Aquatic Center Session, Thursday, August 2, 3-5 p.m. at the new Aquatic Center. Ice cream and lemonade will be served.
