Helping members understand their premium payment options Humana has recently made changes to the payment options available for members to pay their monthly premiums. We understand that these changes can be confusing to you, our agents, and to our members. Below you will find details on the options that are currently available to members based on the type of plan they have with Humana. Listed payment options are for both the member's initial premium payment and their monthly premium payments. *Important to know: members that currently have a Grandfathered, Transitional (Non Grandfathered Non ACA compliant) or ACA-Amended plan are not impacted by recent changes to payment options. They may continue paying their premiums using the methods they previously set up. How can a member pay? 1) Pay online Members can pay directly on Humana.com or through their MyHumana account. Members are also able to set up a monthly automatic payment on their MyHumana account. 2) Pay by mail Members can mail a check or money order to the P.O. Box listed on their invoice. They will need to be sure to include their payment coupon from their invoice and write their Humana member ID on the check or money order. They also need to need to know that their payment must be postmarked by the payment due date to avoid possible cancellation or termination. 3) Pay by cash This barcode based bill-pay service allows members to make their monthly premium payments with cash at participating Dollar General and CVS/pharmacy locations. Currently this payment option is approved and available for members in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
