TENATIVE LEAGUE SCHEDULE: Warm-up / Conditioning Volleyball Skills Development Team Play (Teams & Leagues divided by skill level) LEAGUE INFORMATION:
Our 5th – 8th grade HHS Instructional Volleyball League is designed to improve specific youth volleyball skills including passing, digging, blocking, attacking, serving and setting. Skills from basic footwork to the most advanced aspects of the game will be taught. Along with individual work, players will be placed on teams according to skill level and experience. Additionally, an emphasis will be placed on developing positive habits including sportsmanship, attitude, work ethic, and team play. Each camp participant will receive coaching and instruction from the Heritage High School Volleyball Staff and will be assigned a varsity volleyball team coach.
Skills Taught: Passing
Proper footwork, stance, and form will be reviewed and practiced.
Serving
Fundamentals of serving including topspin & float will be taught.
Hitting / Blocking
Proper footwork, arm swing, and a 3-step approach will be taught along with blocking form.
Setting
Footwork, arm and hand form will be reviewed. Jump set will be taught to advanced players.

Our instructional volleyball league is designed to improve each player’s skill level and be an affordable alternative and/or addition to playing club volleyball.
Team Play
Players will be divided into in 2 leagues according to skill level. Each team will play 2 - 3 games per day.
