Date: February 4, 2019 Attention: Parents of all 7th grade students Subject: High school Visitation day From: Seventh Grade Teachers This year, Wednesday March 20, 2019 has been set aside as a High School Visitation day. Your son/daughter has had the time to discuss this with you over the past few weeks. Hopefully this is not a shock to our parents. This means your son/daughter will have to report to an Archdiocesan High School on that day. Seventh grade students do not report to Saint Katherine’s on that day. An example of an Archdiocesan high school is Archbishop Ryan or Judge. Nazareth high school is not an Archdiocesan High School, neither are any of the Charter Schools. Your son/daughter will need to choose an Archdiocesan High School by February 22, 2019. Then, he/she will have to report to that school on March 20, 2019.Transportation to and from your chosen High School is your responsibility. Attendance will be counted at the High School. This day counts as a normal day of school. Once again, do not report to SKS on that day. Your son/daughter has an opportunity to see firsthand the working of a high school. You must take advantage of it and visit an Archdiocesan school on that day if you do not you will be marked absent for that day.
